Lovingly restored, Chartfield Guesthouse is nestled in this quaint seaside village where the pace and charm is reminiscent of a bygone era while every modern convenience is provided for. The Guesthouse is spread over 3 buildings and almost all of our rooms offer unrivalled views over the sea and Kalk Bay harbour. Large and private, allow the cool ocean breeze to whisper through your open windows bringing with it the faint sounds and maritime scents of the village below.

The historic Fisherman's Village of Kalk Bay offers a variety of antique, boutique and craft shops that line the cobbled lanes of Main Road.
Silvermine Mountain as the backdrop and the harbour with the fishing boats lining the horizon makes one of the spectacular spots on the Southern Peninsula.
Excellent Restaurants and Bars gives you a top choice in your culinary experience. Harbour House and Brass Bell are some of the favourites.

All our standard rooms are lovingly restored and located in the Main House or our lovely Cottage next to the Main house, furnished with king size beds, a Android TV (please note no DSTV channels are available), safe and en-suite bathroom.

Located on the middle fl. of the house next to Chartfield, the self-catering apartment has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen. It's ideal for families, but can be tricky for noise-sensitive people. You have access via the garden to all facilities at Chartfield
Basic Room

This is a basic small room with small double bed and walk in shower. The Room is not in the Main Guesthouse and does not have much space. You access the room via the garden/pool area. This room has no views and no TV however it does have WiFi Access.
