Welcome to 20 Good Summers, where charming suites await you on our stunning off-the-grid farm in The Crags, Plettenberg Bay, right in the heart of the Plett wine region. Here, we cultivate our own vegetables and maintain bee hives. Feel free to explore our property or partake in one of the many delightful farm experiences we offer. Children will love feeding our sheep, fish, and chickens, and our four dogs and two cats are friendly companions who roam freely. Our accommodation features four uniquely decorated suites. The Almond and Shiraz Suites can be interconnected if booked together, perfect for friends or families travelling together. Each suite is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, a bar fridge, microwave, tea and coffee-making facilities, free Wi-Fi, and a patio complete with outdoor furniture, offering stunning views of the farm. We can arrange BBQ/braai facilities, and local wines from the nearby wine farms can be stocked in your room upon request. We offer braai packs, breakfast, and dinners, all prepared with fresh, local, organic produce, much of which is grown within 5 km. Please book these in advance. Rest assured, the water from our taps, sourced from rainwater or springs, is pure and drinkable. 20 Good Summers is conveniently located just 8.5 km from the Elephant Sanctuary Plettenberg Bay, Birds of Eden, and Monkeyland, and 20 km from Keurbooms Beach and Nature's Valley. Area Info
Perched amongst the idyllic greenery of the Garden Route, just outside the seaside town of Plettenberg Bay and the village of Nature's Valley, is The Crags. This is a gorgeous area that offers plenty of attractions and activities.
The Crags stands out as a place that offers a stunning variety of wildlife that can be enjoyed, particularly at the many sanctuaries. Birds of Eden is a sanctuary home to around 3,500 birds and around 200 species. These birds fly freely in the world's largest single-dome free-flight aviary. Monkeyland, next door to Birds of Eden, provides an authentic forest habitat for rescued primates. These include exotic lemurs, gibbons and spider monkeys. The Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary is a place of safety for many wild cats (including lions, black leopards, jaguars and pumas), and many other exciting species. Other wildlife attractions in and around The Crags include the elephant sanctuary, Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre, and the Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary. There are a number of GREAT adrenaline experiences around here and wonderful hiking routes close by.
