Guests can choose from eight spacious, well-appointed chalets that sleep between 4 and 6 people, each fitted with a stove, fridge, microwave, and TV. The 4-sleeper chalets feature four single beds, while the 6-sleepers include a ground-floor bedroom with a double bed and four single beds upstairs. All chalets are self-catering and equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, and a 2-plate or 4-plate stove—some units also include a full stove and oven. Complimentary tea and coffee are provided only on the first night, and bedding is included, so there’s no need to bring your own. Each unit has a private braai area for outdoor cooking and relaxation. For entertainment, TVs are available with SABC 1, 2, 3, and etv, with selected DStv channels in some chalets. Whether you're after a peaceful escape or outdoor fun, Bassfeather offers the perfect countryside getaway. For those who prefer sleeping under the stars, the lodge offers beautifully maintained campsites near the water or under shady trees, along with clean shared bathroom facilities.
