*Black Horse Lodge is located just outside Vryheid on the R69 near Ithala Game Reserve. The lodge is seven minutes away from town. There are activities on site which guests can take part in, such as horse riding, fishing, table tennis and more *We offer free Wi-Fi, 24-hour security and free parking space. The town of Vryheid was moreover intrinsically involved in the subsequent Anglo-Boer War of 1899, making it one of the more interesting towns on the Battlefields route - a route that traces the myriad battlefield sites and memorials dotted across the surrounding countryside
