Blackwood Eco Lodge

The stylishly furnished bedrooms contain double, queen- or king-size beds. The bathrooms each have a walk-in shower and a bath. The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering and includes a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a dishwasher. The living area boasts a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The lodge opens to a patio with ample outdoor furniture and braai facilities. The Blackwood Eco Lodge is situated in Witbank, about 40 km outside of town towards Verena on the R544. Witbank is situated in the Cultural Heartlands region of Mpumalanga, South Africa. Witbank means “white ridge” in Afrikaans. In 2006 Witbank was officially renamed eMalahleni which means ‘place of coal’ in Zulu. Visitors traveling from Kruger Park to Johannesburg find Witbank to be a convenient stop en route.
