Sun & Sea – The Beach. Brenton-on-Sea beach, with its unspoilt white sand, extends for 6 km to Buffalo Bay – perfect for a walk or jog for those seeking a more active pace. Enjoy swimming in the Indian Ocean alongside the African Black Oystercatcher.
Outdoor Beauty – Hiking The area is green and lush all year round, with native flowers, trees, flora, and fynbos. You can walk along the cliffs at Fisherman’s Walk and may spot whales and dolphins below. Enjoy the sunset with friends and a glass of wine. Climb up Castle Rock and feel the spray on your skin. Wildlife in the area includes guinea fowl, bushbuck, nightjars, and peacocks. Keep an eye out for tortoises and mongooses too.
Ocean – Whale Watching Join a boat trip for an exhilarating game of hide-and-seek as we traverse the Garden Route coastline in search of migratory giants – humpback and southern right whales.
Peaceful Waters – The Lagoon. You can fish or paddle on the lagoon, or bring your boat and launch from the jetty
