Area Info
Hobhouse is a farmers district in the Eastern Free State, which mostly produce grain. The town Hobhouse is small, but very historical. The town was named after Emily Hobhouse, the British girl who became a heroine under farmers.
Emily Hobhouse visited the war-torn South Africa during the Anglo-Boer War and was shocked by the conditions in the concentration camps. She immediately started nursing and social services under the Boer women.
Her wedding veil hangs in the headquarters of the "Orange Women's Association" in Hobhouse, the first women welfare organization in the Free State. Hobhouse lies close to the Caledon River, 56 kilometers south of Ladybrand. Ladybrand is a cute and historic town to visit, which is about 28km from Lesotho's main city Maseru. Maseru has a nice big mall and movies. Caritas lies in the heart of historic scenery, as well as the "city hub" of Maseru.

This Executive Flat, consists of 2 beautiful rooms - Gunther with a King Size bed, and Tommy with a Double bed. The unit has 1 Bathroom with shower and bath, as well as a full open plan kitchen & living area.

This flat consists of 2 very basic yet comfortable twin rooms, a sharing bathroom, and self-catering area with microwave & fridge only. Boempie has closing doors, and Tsunami a room divider only, but the setup still remains very private and cosy.
