Gecko Cottages

Small inverters ensure the Wi-Fi and TV stay powered during load-shedding. Private parking is available on-site. The Annex at Gecko with solar power – accommodates up to 2 people. This is an air-conditioned unit with a queen-size bed with an en-suite shower room, furnished with a kettle, toaster, an airfryer, fridge, and coffee machine. There is a small outside seating area with a smallbraai. The Twin Studio – Hyena at Gecko with solar power – is a twin bed studio room with an en-suite shower, accommodating up to 2 people. This air-conditioned room is furnished with a microwave, kettle, toaster, air fryer, fridge/freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a large flat-screen TV with Netflix and associated internet channels. This unit has a large private screened patio with a kitchenette including a braai, gas hob and sink/kitchenette wash area. There is a large granite table and chairs. The Studio - Wild Dog at Gecko with solar power – is a double bedroom with a private kitchen, patio and small garden. The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, includes a couch and air conditioning and sleeps up to 2 persons. The covered patio has a drop-down awning along with a Weber braai. This room has a large parking area that can accommodate a small trailer or caravan. A variety of meal plans are available to be booked at Gecko Cottages. Area Info
Situated in the small village of Hectorspruit, which has the availability of a bottle store, excellent butchery and a small convenience store (all close at 5pm daily and not open on Sundays). We would suggest stopping at Malelane or Komatipoort en route to buy your larger shopping requirements. This is a village where you can walk or have a morning/evening jog, a place where children still ride their bikes and families walk.
