Kairos on the Lake
Kairos on the Lake offers self-catering units and unrestricted views right across beautiful Swartvlei Lake, in Sedgefield. Nestled against a nature reserve, you will find utter peace and tranquility. There is a boat slip and mooring at the jetty. Rolling lawns for games and fishing are excellent. We offer free unlimited Wi-Fi and have gas stoves in all chalets. Friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Accommodation comprises chalets and a bungalow, each consisting of separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Each unit features a kitchen, and a living area that leads out onto a patio with BBQ/braai facilities. On the edge of Swartvlei Lake, this is a private and peaceful home-from-home for family and friends. Swim, SUP or canoe and fish in the soft waters of the lake, or hike the adjoining nature reserve trails. Enjoy our private swimming pool with kiddies slide, or a friendly game of tennis, pool or table tennis. Toast spectacular sunsets from our jetty and launch your boat into the lake from the private ramp.

Sedgefield is a beautiful seaside village, lying between George and Knysna, along the renowned scenic Garden Route in the Western Cape.
The area surrounding Sedgefield is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Groenvlei Lake is the only freshwater lake in the area and is a popular spot for Bass fishing. It forms part of the Goukamma Nature Reserve and has some of the highest vegetated sand dunes in South Africa. Sedgefield’s surrounds are a plethora of fynbos, Lakeside, and forest hiking trails that will keep the energetic entertained for hours. Swartvlei is one of the largest lakes in the Sedgefield, providing safe swimming and fishing.
