The Luxury Bush Lodge is a stylish getaway, tucked away in a private section of the reserve, with two cottages and a central living space, while the four rustic self-catering chalets are perfect for smaller groups. Surrounded by the fynbos-covered flanks of the Swartberg and Rooiberg ranges, Karoo62Escape invites long hours reading on your stoep or enjoying relaxed gettogethers by the braai. The farm is part of the 14,000km² Klein Karoo Private Nature Reserve, and offers hiking, mountain biking, hunting and 4×4 routes.
You’re surrounded by the diverse vegetation of the hills and valleys, boasting renosterveld, mountain fynbos, spekboom veld, and a variety of indigenous trees, while the terrain is inhabited by a ‘who’s who’ of antelopes, such kudu, eland and duiker, as well as wild cats, eagles, owls, and various types of snakes.
