Kruger Maroela Lodge & Spa
Kruger Maroela Lodge & Spa provides charming self-catering accommodation in Marloth Park, set within the untouched beauty of the African bush. Guests can unwind in cosy, well-appointed chalets, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature as wildlife wanders nearby. Perfect for a tranquil escape, Kruger Maroela Lodge lets you experience the magic of the wild right from your doorstep. The air-conditioned chalets can accommodate between 4 and 6 people, and they are furnished with double, single, and bunk beds and private bathrooms with showers. For convenience, linen bath towels are provided, and guests please need to bring their swimming towels. A laundry service is available on request at an additional cost. Guests are asked to please conserve water, and please note that the chalets run on a septic tank system. The open-plan kitchenettes are equipped with microwaves, induction stoves, fridge freezers, and tea and coffee facilities. The lounge has comfortable seating and a TV with DStv. Sections of some of the chalets are accessed by stairs. The chalets open onto an outdoor entertainment area, and guests can cool down in their private splash pool or enjoy a braai on the sun deck. All chalets are equipped with safety doors and window shutters, and guests are asked to please keep them shut at all times on account of the monkeys and snakes. All animals are wild and should not be hand-fed, but feeding areas are provided. Kruger Maroela Lodge boasts an array of facilities: a 24-hour front desk, a bar, a restaurant, conference facilities, a gym, a spa, an outdoor pool, a children’s play area, and a braai area. Secured and free parking are available, and the property offers free Wi-Fi, a hairdresser, and laundry services upon request.
Area Info
Situated in the 3,000-hectare Marloth Park, guests can ride a bicycle or go for a walk on their own through the African bush. While walking along the Crocodile River, visitors can watch spectacular wildlife scenes in the adjacent Kruger National Park. On-site and other local restaurants, shops, and a filling station are easily accessible.
The famous 1,500-hectare Lionspruit Game Reserve is 2.5 km from Kruger Maroela Lodge, and guests will see giraffes, buffalo, kudu, rhinos, impala, wildebeest, zebras, small antelope, and even lions.
