Marrob Lodge
Marrob Lodge is an architectural masterpiece uniquely centred around a grand atrium bringing the outdoors inside. The thatched roof and face-brick façade adds to the distinctive character of the lodge. Sunlight streams through the windows creating its own magical atmosphere….. Our downstairs communal areas are completely open-plan offering a 360°C view to the interior. The lodge offers two communal lounges, an upstairs library area, an outdoor lapa and pool nestled in the lush garden. Our second floor, accommodating our rooms has a distinct “castle-like” feel. All our rooms are tastefully furnished giving them a rustic charm, and the thatch ensures warmth in winter and coolness in summer.
Area Info
The property abuts onto the Kwambonambi Golf Course with the club house just a 200m walk away. Meals are served at the club at very reasonable prices and we can organize for you to have your evening meal there if you do not wish to have your meal with us.
At Marrob Lodge you are close to all the tourist attractions of Zululand. A visit to the Tuzi Gazi waterfront in Richards Bay is a pleasant interlude and the restaurants there are top quality.
