Meerkat Manor is a well-established guesthouse in Komatipoort. Meerkat Manor is located in a secure residential area with an electric fence as well as security gates. Parking is therefore very safe. Wi-Fi is free. Komatipoort is a quaint, border post town just 8 kilometres from the Crocodile Bridge Gate, entrance to the Kruger National Park. The Mozambique border is just 5 kilometers away and the Swaziland border, 65 kilometers.

Komatipoort is situated at the confluence of the Crocodile and Komati Rivers, and is on the boundary of Kruger National Park (and the famous "Big Five"), Mozambique and Swaziland.

With an average temperature of 33 degree C in summer and 26 degree C in winter, Komatipoort is one of the hottest towns in South Africa.
