Peace Valley Guesthouse is within easy walking distance of the village with its variety of restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes. Several shops are selling old and unusual items, which are well worth a visit. Napier is known as the home to several local artists, and much of their work is on exhibit in one or other of the various galleries in the village.
There is a regular Saturday morning market held in the village where local food and artisan products can be purchased - a chance to meet some locals in the process.
Napier is approximately 30 30-minute drive from the beaches at Arniston and Agulhas, and is within easy driving distance of Hermanus, Gansbaai, Elim, and Stanford. It is approximately 2 hours from Cape Town and is an ideal location for those wishing to explore the Garden Route after a stopover at Peace Valley Guesthouse.
