Remote Locations Witsand
Our tents are all situated along the sandstone cliffs overlooking the ocean. The 10 tents each sleep 2 adults and have a private ablution with a chemical toilet and bucket shower. The tents have 2 single beds, some of the tents can be converted into queen bedded tents on request. Children under the age of 18 to share with parents in their tent if they are to pay the reduced rates. ***Please note we can only guarantee a comfortable stay with 1 child under 13 sharing a tent with parents as space is limited in the tent. When there is more than 1 child in a family we recommend that each parent shares a tent with one of the children, and in this situation full adult rates apply. Our Bedouin tent houses the dining area for breakfast and dinner, and lounge area. The Bedouin is set up on the site of an old shed. The view is of the ocean and we have a fire pit out front to enjoy the night sky. The Bedouin has a clear front wall so even if the weather is bad outside it is nice and cozy inside and the view unobstructed.
Area Info
The access road is 9km off the tar road between Heidelberg and Witsand – directions will be sent to guests once a booking is confirmed. We do recommend a high clearance vehicle but can accommodate guests with sedan cars. We will park your vehicle at a safe location and transfer you to the camp for the last 1km.
