Located in Duinepark, Witsand, just 50 metres from the beach and tidal pool, Kaiha is a spacious self-catering holiday home in Witsand, ideal for families and small groups, as it sleeps up to 8 people. This double-storey home offers a partial sea view from the second level, and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, whilst the upstairs bathroom has a bath. It comes with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge area. All bedrooms are upstairs, including two rooms with double beds and a third room furnished with 2 single beds, as well as a double sleeper couch on the upper level provides additional sleeping space for two children. In winter, hot water bottles will be offered. The open-plan kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, a 4-plate gas stove, an electrical oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine where guests are welcome to bring additional coffee pods. A washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities are also available for guest use and convenience. Guests can gather around the dining table for meals and unwind in the cosy lounge. The property includes both indoor and outdoor braai areas. While Kaiha does not have a garage or driveway, parking for two vehicles is available in the complex’s shared parking area. The owner will share the directions to the parking with guests upon booking. Witsand is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a range of activities including whale watching (June to November), swimming, windsurfing, rock and surf angling, deep-sea fishing, and snorkelling. The Witsand Nature Reserve and Breede River can be reached within 2.5 km of Kaiha.

Situated at the mouth of the Breede River in South Africa’s Western Cape, Witsand is a tranquil coastal town known as the Whale Nursery of South Africa for its impressive sightings of Southern right whales from June to November.
Part of the Hessequa region, also called the Explorer's Garden Route, Witsand is a haven for outdoor and water sports lovers, offering activities like kite-surfing, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and fishing. The Breede River is also known for record-sized bull sharks, remarkably, with no shark attacks reported.
Each November, the town marks the finish of the Vlakte Marathon, a popular local event.
