Shondoro Mountain Retreat

At Shondoro you can enjoy our natural swimming pool in the bush with a view of the mountains. The swimming pool is part of cottages. There are 3 stone and thatch cottages each with its own small boma and braai area. Outside kitchens offer the opportunity to cook and eat in the open. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. NEW: Valley View Campsite located a small drive up the mountain. Nicely cleared, but surrounded by the bush. Enjoy a fresh, clean water shower overlooking the valley.

Area Info

You can go for a walk next to the seasonal river or up one of the many mountain trails. Enjoy the amazing bird life, go for a mountain bike ride or just relax and soak up the silence.

This is wild camping in a farm – There is an outdoor bush shower + fresh water. There are no toilets or kitchen, so you’ll need to be self sufficient when staying here. The trade-off: magnificent mountain & valley views, and no campers near you at night!
