Stoneridge Farm is a much-loved family homestead with horses, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, dogs, and a very friendly resident donkey. We offer private and well-equipped, self-catering units. Each apartment has unlimited Wi-Fi, DStv Premium package, and is serviced daily. Laundry service can be arranged on request. The Family Cottage: this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom self-catering cottage has its own enclosed private garden. This cottage is serviced daily and is perfect for couples or families. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen and offers free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Pets are welcome on request at this unit. Sky Loft Apartment: This apartment has 1 bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Cute and cosy, this unit does not have its own dedicated outdoor space, but we encourage guests to utilise the communal outdoor courtyard and pool area. Sea View Top Deck Studio: This open-plan apartment features a private deck offering lovely views, a Weber braai and outdoor seating. The studio has a queen-size bed and a couch. There is 1 bathroom equipped with a shower-over-bath. Garden Studio: This 1-bedroom apartment has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a large shower. The open-plan kitchen, lounge and bedroom open up onto the large private deck that overlooks the garden.
Area Info
Kranshoek, which is approximately 4 km from Stoneridge Farm, was founded in the early years of the 20th century by a group of Griqua trekkers under the leadership of Abraham le Fleur who had been displaced from their land in Kokstad. Today the Le Fleur's are still living in Kranshoek and there is a great sense of heritage and pride in the community.
