WhyNot Restaurant & Guest Lodge in the tranquil town of Bloemhof is the perfect place to stay. We provide all the amenities you need for a truly relaxed visit, whether you're travelling for leisure or business. We offer a range of accommodation, from cosy two-sleeper chalets to spacious six-sleeper units. Our two-sleeper chalets provide flexible sleeping arrangements, fitted with either a queen bed, a king-size bed, or twin beds. Most of our bathrooms include a shower, toilet, and wash basin. We also have one bathroom featuring a bath with a handheld shower. Most rooms are well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV with streaming services, coffee and tea making facilities, and a work desk. For your comfort, air conditioning is also standard, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property. For added convenience, some of our larger chalets include a sitting area and direct access to a braai area. Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool, Children's play area, as well as the on-site restaurant and bar.

Not only does the little farming town of Bloemhof (flower capital or court) lie on the Vaal River, it also rests right up against a large dam known as the Bloemhof Dam - a major fisherman's paradise, especially for carp and fish cat, and somewhere you can see several antelope and at least 250 species of birds.
Bloemhof serves as an ideal stopover whilst holidaying in the North West, particularly if your emphasis is on outdoor adventure. Not far from here is the SA Lombard Game Reserve where you can see the black wildebeest, further north but remaining with the North West, is Wondergat - a sink hole with steep sides that serves as a fantastic dive site, and further still, there is Sun City, Vredefort Dam, Hartbeespoort Dam and the Pilanesberg National Park.
