The estate features two pristine, crystal-clear trout dams – including a magnificent 9-hectare dam with jetties, where float tubes are allowed for the fly-fishing enthusiast. Accommodation on the farm includes eight beautifully appointed self-catering units, ranging from a cozy 2-sleeper cottage to spacious 8-sleeper houses. In total, Blue Crane Farm can host up to 44 guests, making it the perfect destination for family getaways, group gatherings, or peaceful retreats. Each unit offers privacy, yet is conveniently close to neighboring cottages, allowing friends and families to connect with ease. All units face the water, offering uninterrupted views of the grasslands and dams. Beyond the comfort of your stay, the farm offers a truly enchanting escape into nature. Free-roaming wildlife such as fallow deer, springbok, blesbuck, zebra, hartebeest, and vaal rhebok wander the grounds, while an abundance of birdlife – including endangered Blue Cranes and Crowned Cranes – nest here regularly.
