The all-inclusive chalets offer luxurious comfort with air-conditioning, a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, bar fridge, and kettle, with three delicious meals served at the main lodge. Some chalets are set close to the lion enclosure, while others overlook the hyena area, each offering its own unique setting. An educational game drive with one of the sanctuary’s guides is included, allowing guests to connect with the animals and the sanctuary’s important mission. For those who prefer self-catering, spacious chalets with fully equipped kitchens are available just a short walk from the swimming pool and near the cheetah enclosures. For a more exclusive experience, guests can stay at Sunset Boma, a private tented camp set on a hilltop 15 minutes from the main lodge. With three luxury tents, open-air showers, a fully equipped kitchen, a gas braai, and its own infinity pool overlooking the vast plains, Sunset Boma offers complete privacy and a truly magical escape. Lion and Cheetah Sanctuary is located just an hour from Johannesburg and 30 minutes from Pretoria, offering a peaceful escape on an 800-hectare conservancy of unspoilt bushveld. The sanctuary borders Dinokeng Game Reserve, home to Africa’s Big Five, providing guests with the rare opportunity to work with big cats and explore nearby wildlife on game drives. The area is rich in biodiversity, with roaming antelope, giraffe, wildebeest, zebras, and hundreds of bird species. Guests can enjoy nature hikes, educational game drives, and stunning views, all within this beautiful, tranquil setting.
