Riverman Cabin Country Lodge
There is nothing quite like escaping to the unspoilt splendour of the Highveld, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. Riverman Cabin Country Lodge is nestled in the tranquil Tonteldoos Valley, 25 km northeast of Dullstroom, and just a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Johannesburg. This idyllic retreat is perfect for couples seeking a romantic weekend getaway, family gatherings, or friends reuniting to escape city life. With no mobile reception and Wi-Fi available only in the cottages, you are sure to reconnect with nature, family, and loved ones. The farm offers seven pet-friendly cottages and cabins (six of which are fenced off), each fully equipped for a comfortable self-catering experience. Decorated with a unique style of rustic elegance and charm, they feature cosy indoor fireplaces, private outdoor braai areas, and a complimentary stock of wood for your first night’s stay. We can accommodate a total of 28 guests. Explore the farm on foot or by bicycle and take some time to appreciate the captivating beauty of your surroundings. Put on your walking shoes and discover our wattle walk through the woods and secret trails throughout the farm. Enjoy fishing in our well-stocked trout dam or bass pond, or try hitting a few golf balls on our driving range. End your day with an evening under the stars in complete serenity around the fire, and wake up to a cup of coffee on the stoep, watching the sunrise. Our chapel doors are open for those who would like a private moment and a prayer.

Golden Cottage has a Queen size Post Bed, bathroom with shower, equipped kitchenette with gas stove, Microwave and Fridge/Freezer. Known to be our romantic Cottage. Snuggle near the indoor fireplace, or laze on the grass patch overlooking our pond.
