Wetlands Game Lodge is a luxury game lodge in South Africa near the small town Wakkerstroom. Nestled between rolling grasslands and pristine wetlands, the lodge is home to a rich array of wildlife, from the graceful springbok to the mighty buffalo. Wakkerstroom isn’t only the second oldest town in Mpumalanga but also home to 3 bird habitats Grasslands, Forests and Wetlands which attracts an abundance of birdlife, offering a tranquil escape into nature. The surrounding landscape allows for the perfect balance; a serene atmosphere and luxurious accommodation. 32 Private en-suite rooms designed for your comfort and relaxation. A variety of activities like guided hikes, quad biking, fishing and wine tasting are available to all guests and day visitors. Our restaurant is open to the public and serves expertly crafted meals by our Mestre-cuca. Each meal is accompanied by serene views of the trout dam and the young and retired racing horses. At Wetlands Game Lodge we can host events, conferences or private gatherings. The lodge also creates the perfect setting for a destination wedding from intimate to grand celebrations.
