With six bedrooms and five bathrooms, the house comfortably accommodates 12 guests, with a maximum capacity of 14. Enjoy the warmth of a traditional braai with complimentary wood, or gather around one of the fireplaces for a cosy evening. The spacious TV lounge, offering the full bouquet of DSTV channels, is perfect for entertainment and relaxation. It even houses a table tennis board, a card table, and a double fridge/freezer for your beverages and ice. The veranda invites you to unwind with a glass of wine, good company, and the breathtaking views. For special occasions, our dining room table seats 14 for a formal dinner. Alternatively, find a quiet corner in the sitting room or sunroom to lose yourself in a good book. Our fully equipped kitchen caters to all your self-catering needs, featuring gas, electric, and microwave ovens, a reverse osmosis drinking water spout, and a dishwasher. Housekeeping is available as an optional service. An inverter and batteries ensure the TV, WiFi, microwave, fridges, veranda fans, and some lights remain operational during load-shedding, though the water pump and air conditioners will not be powered. Experience country living at its finest! For a romantic escape, the luxurious Wine Down Cottage offers an intimate setting overlooking the farm dam. This idyllic hideaway is perfect for couples (please note, no children due to the unfenced dam). The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering, featuring a dishwasher and robotic vacuum cleaner. Adjust the ceiling fan lights to create the perfect ambience, and enjoy your favourite music through Bluetooth speakers or watch DSTV. An adjoining office is available for remote working. Enjoy a paddle in the kayak, an invigorating outdoor shower, or a game on the boules court. A maze and undercover parking are also provided. The inverter and battery system will keep everything except the water and hob functioning during power outages, ensuring the TV, air fryer, microwave, and kettle are operational. Riverton is on the R317 golden river route which is home to neighbouring Springfield, Cloverfield and Bon Courage Wine Estates. Robertson Horse Riding Adventures for a sunset outride through the vines and along the Breede river is 4 farms away. Viljoensdrift River Cruise & Deli is further along the road as is Christina's restaurant on Van Loveren Wine Estate. De Wetshof across the road will delight Chardonnay lovers. Enjoy a talk about our local geology and fossils during your MCC tasting at Silverthorn Wine Estate or watch the river flow by at Esona's restaurant.
