Montagu Vines Guest House is located in Montagu’s historic Oudam conservation area, with a beautifully restored Victorian homestead dating back to the early 1900s. Our elegant garden rooms overlook the olive grove and surrounding mountains, offering a peaceful blend of comfort, charm, and understated luxury on the iconic Route 62. Guests can unwind in the tranquil gardens beneath ancient oak and milkwood trees, relax by the splash pool, or enjoy a glass of local wine on the lawns with views of the mountains. In winter, each garden room offers a cosy fireplace — the perfect spot to curl up with a book and enjoy the quiet beauty of Montagu.

Montagu Vines is a safe stroll away from the centre of Montagu, with its amenities that cater for all tastes and interests. There are restaurants, bistros, historic churches and tranquil gardens for the visitor to enjoy. Walks and hikes into the mountains, rock climbing, mountain biking, Wine route and tasting, fishing, quad biking, and hot springs. We offer a guest braai facility for the evenings but notice is required at least 24 hours in advance. Should you wish to make use of this additional charges apply.
