Area Info

We are situated in the vast Balule Reserve, which is incorporated into the Greater Kruger Park. We offer two safari activities per day, an afternoon and morning drive in open Land Cruisers.

Being close to the Lowveld town of Hoedspruit, we are in the middle of South Africa's most beautiful area, the Drakensberg Panorama Route as well as the Kruger Park.

Balule Nature Reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger Park, which means that it is part of a vast conservation area. Our drives depart from the Lodge, directly into prime wilderness, where Big Game, as well as a vast array of other spectacular wildlife awaits. Skilled & experienced Rangers & Trackers search out animals of interest, to excite & delight you on safari. Superb photographic opportunities await you, as your guides bring up close and personal to the Big 5 plus plenty more.
