Cedar Bush Lodge
Cedar Bush Lodge forms part of the Greater Dinokeng Area.The wildlife conservation destination is rich in natural, cultural, adventurous, and historical heritage sites. The Lodge is located approximately 7km after entering the Nyathi Dinokeng Gate. The Lodge is within the gates of Dinokeng, but not within the big 5 reserve. The lodge, and all of its facilities, can only be exclusively reserved for one group at a time. The exclusive lodge can be booked for a group of 15 people and comprises 1 main house and 2 cottages. The main house consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The house also features a large, open-plan kitchen, that is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, gas stove, electric oven, and freezer, and a spacious dining area. This house also boasts an entertainment area with where family and friends can lounge in the jacuzzi or make use of the inside braai area. The two outside cottages are not attached to the main house. Each small, quaint and cosy unit has air-conditioning and a fridge-freezer with two bathrooms located outside the units.

Since 2012, the 280 000-hectare, malaria free reserve has grown in stature to provide a free-roaming haven for hyenas, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, elephants, rhinos, leopards and a myriad of bird species, including the endangered blue crane and a breeding pair of martial eagles.
Dinokeng is also South Africa’s second-best birdwatching region. A mix of grassland, bushveld Acacia and wetland habitats attract a wide variety of birds to this region.
